[Siha Singh], second son of Rawat Kandhalji, and his
wife, Rani Bar Kanwar Sankhli, and grandson of Rao
Chunda of Mewar, he
was granted the jagiri of Modva but Rana Sanga
exchanged this for the new Jagiri of Kotharia in 1509;
he took part with Kunwar Pritviraj of Mewar in a
battle against Lalla Khan Pathan of Toda; he fought,
along with his ally, Rana Sanga, against Ibrahim Lodhi
of Delhi in the Battle of Bankrol, he also took part
in a battle at Dadmi against Kunwar Udai Singh of
Mewar (who had murdered Rana Kumbha ), and again in
the battle of Sameecha, when he was was Musahib of the
Mewar army; married 1stly, Rani Hadiji Har Kanwar,
daughter of Rahapji, married 2ndly Rani Gauriji
Karmeta Bai, daugther of Bhunji, she committed sati sp in March 1527,
married 3rdly, Rani Rathoriji Navrang De, daughter of
Jai Singhji, and had issue, eight sons. He was killed
in the Battle of Khanwa on 17th March 1527, fighting
against Padshah Babar.

- Baisa (name
unknown), married and had issue, the Rawats

- Rawat NANGAJI,
he took part in the Battle at Surajpol, Chittaurgarh
against Bahadurshah of Gujarat in 1535; married 1stly,
Rani Gauriji Lad Kanwar, daughter of Haluji, married
2ndly, Rani Chauhaniji Kashumbha Kanwar, daughter of
Bhawani Dasji, married 3rdly, Rani Songariji Deep
Kanwar, daughter of Prithirajji, and had issue, one
son. He was killed in the Second Battle of Chittaur in
1535.
- Rawat JAGGAJI,
Thakur Saheb of Kotharia and Kelwa, the former of
which was granted to his sister's husband, a Chauhan
Sardar, he took an active part in battles fought
against Vagdiya Chauhan of Dungarpur in 1554/1555;
married 1stly, Rani Songariji Samandar Kanwar,
daughter of Nathuji, and grand daughter of Radmalji of
Pali, married 2ndly, Rani Medtiyaji Dhan Kanwar,
daughter of Raidasji, married 3rdly, Rani Chavdiji Dan
Kanwar, daughter of Sinhaji married 4thly, Rani
Rathoriji Bal Kanwar, daughter of Ran Singhji, married
5thly, Rani Solankiji Lad Kanwar, daughter of Bhawani
Dasji, and grand daughter of Samandar Singhji, and had
issue, four sons, the Jaggawat sub-clan. He died
fighting bravely in the Battle of Jaitana near the Som
River at Aspur in 1555.

- Kunwar Veer Patta [Rawat Pattaji] (by Rani
Samandar Kanwar), he succeeded his father (qv)
- Thakur Bheem Singhji, he was granted the jagiri of
Bhadu.
- Thakur Arjun Singhji, he was granted the jagiri of
Pandru.
- Rawat PATTAJI,
2nd Rawat Saheb of Kelwa, in his time, he was a
prominent Sardar of Mewar, and so Rana Udai Singhji
appointed him an Adhipti of Mewar in 1567, when
Padshah Akbar made an attack on Mewar, in this battle,
he fought bravely against Akbar and was killed;
married 1stly, Rani Solankiji Jeewa Bai, daughter of
Thakur Samant Singhji of Roopnagar, married 2ndly,
Rani Shekhawatiji Madalsha Bai, daughter of Thakur
Sahashmalji Shekhawat of Saiwad (see Shekhawat Dynasty),
married 3rdly, Rani Chauhaniji Bhagwati Bai, daugther
of Balluji Chauhan of Bedla, married 4thly, Rani
Jhaliji Padmavati Bai, married 5thly, Rani Rathoriji
Ratan Bai, married 6thly, Rani Chauhaniji Balesha Bai,
married 7thly, Rani Parmariji Vagdeshi Asha Bai, and
had issue, six sons and five daughters (two sons and
five daughters, died in the third Jauhar of Chittaur,
along with his seven wives). He died bravely in battle
(Ran Juhaar) against Padshah Akbar in the Third Battle
of Chittaur in 1568.
- Thakur Kalyan Singhji (by Rani Madalasha Bai), he
was also more famously known as Kallaji Chundawat,
he took part in the battle of Fatehpur in Jhunjhunu
and at Haldighati; married 1stly, Thakurani
Rathoriji Lad Kanwar, daughter of Thakur Ashkarnji,
married 2ndly, Thakurani Sindhaliji Durga Kanwar Mahasati,
daughter of Thakur Man Singhji, married 3rdly,
Thakurani Jhaliji Keshar Kanwar, daughter of Thakur
Chatrashaji and grand-daughter of Punjaji, married
4thly, Thakurani Rathoriji Badan Kanwar, daughter of
Jaimalji, she committed sati, married 5thly, Thakurani
Gauriji Lad Kanwar, daughter of Thakur Bitthaldasji,
and grand-daughter of Akherajji, and had issue, two
sons. He was killed in the Battle (Ran Junjhaar) of
Haldighati on 18th June 1576.

1st Rawat Saheb of Amet; he was granted Amet after his
father's death, he took part in many battles against
both Akbar and Jahangir of Delhi; married 1stly,
Rani Rathoriji Meer Kanwar, daughter of Rao Kalyan
Singhji of Bikaner,
married 2ndly, Rani Kachhwahiji Kasumbha Kanwar,
daughter of Thakur Benidasji of Achrol, and
grand-daughter of Thakur Balbhadra Singhji, 1st Thakur
Saheb of Achrol, she had
built a temple to Lord Charbhujaji and one Bavdi in Amet in
1639, in the time of Rana Jagat Singhji of Mewar,
married 3rdly, Rani Rathoriji Purnmeta Bai, daughter
of Thakur Achaldasji, married 4thly, Rani Sindhaliji
Indra Kanwar, daughter of Jaimalji, she committed sati, married
5thly, Rani Rathoriji Laxman Kanwar, daughter of
Thakur Sharduldasj, married 6thly, Rani Panwariji Lad
Kanwar, daughter of Viramdevji, married 7thly, Rani
Solankiji Shayar Kanwar, daughter of Thakur Sinhaji of
Roopnagar, married

- Kunwar Narhardasji (by Rani Kasumbha Kanwar), he
was the Heir to Amet, but instead he was granted the
jagiri of Koshithal; he adopted his nephew; married
and had adoptive issue. He died sp.
- Kunwar Man Singhji (by Rani Kasumbha Kanwar), he
succeeded as Rawat of Amet (qv)
- Baisa Manbhavta Bai (by Rani Kasumbha Kanwar)
- Baisa Prem Kanwar (by Rani Kasumbha Kanwar)
- Thakur Raaj Singhji (by Rani Purnmeta Bai), he was
granted the jagiri of Tungach.
- Thakur Keshavdasji, he was granted the jagiri of
Baddu.
- Thakur Mundasji (by Rani Purnmeta Bai), he was
granted the jagiri of Seturiya, but died
without issue and the estate was granted to the
Thakur Saheb of Koshithal.

2nd Rawat Saheb of Amet, he took part in a battle with
Kunwar Jai Singhji of Mewar against
Shahzada Mu'azzam of Delhi; married and had
issue, five sons.

- Thakur Jagnnath Singhji, he succeeded Thakur
Narhar Dasji of Koshithal, as the 2nd Thakur Saheb
of Koshithal, married and had issue.
- Thakur Ram Singh, he was granted the Jagiri of Tal, married and had
issue, seven sons.
- Thakur Maha Singhji, he was granted the jagiri of
Nandsa Jagir.
- Thakur Ratan Singhji, he was granted the Jagiri of
Peethawas; he fought in battles against Aurangzeb in
Malpura. He died in the battle of Sopur.

SINGHJI, 3rd Rawat Saheb of Amet, married and
had issue, nine sons.
- Kunwar Goverdhan Singh, he succeeded as Rawat
Goverdhan Singhji of Amet (qv)

Bemali, ancestor of the Meja
family.

- Thakur Khuman Singh, he was granted the Jagiri of
Bhopal Singh Ji Ka Kheda, he was a brave soldier and
took part in the Battle of Bandhanwara in 1711 and
in a battle against Ranbaj Khan, married and had
issue, two sons. He died in battle (Ran Junjhaar).
- Thakur Bhopal Singhji, he succeeded his father
as the second Thakur Saheb of Kheda, married and
had issue, four sons.
- Kunwar Jorawar Singhji
- Thakur Vishan Singhji, 3rd Thakur Saheb of
Kheda, married and had issue.
- Thakur Durjan Singhji, 4th Thakur Saheb of
Kheda, married and had issue.
- Thakur Bheem Singhji, 5th Thakur Saheb of
Kheda, he served as Faujdaar of Thikana
Amet, he contested for the succession in
Amet after the death of Rawat Prithvi
Singhji II in 1857, and fought against the
Bemali contender; married and had issue,
three sons.

of Kheda, married and had issue, three
sons.
- Thakur Nahar Singhji, 7th Thakur Saheb
of Kheda, married and had issue, two
sons.

suriously injured in the Battle of Bandhanwara against
Ranbaj Khan Mewati in 1711; married and had issue,
five sons.

sons. He was murderd in Kunwar Pada.

- Thakur Bharat Singhji, he was granted the jagiri
of Jeelola.
- Thakur Nath Singhji, he succeeded his brother in
Jeelola, he took an active part in the Battle of
Topala Mangri.

Negdiya Kheda.

- Rawat FATEH SINGHJI,
7th Rawat Saheb of Amet, he fought bravely in the
Battle of Ujjan (also know as Chipra War) in 1769
against the Maratha, and he was seriously injured in
that conflict.
- Rawat PRATAP
SINGHJI, 8th Rawat Saheb of Amet, during his
reign, he fought bravely in battles along with Rawat
Bheem Singhji of Salumber and Rawat Arjun Singhji of
Kurabar, against the Maratha; he is said to be the
real hero of the battle of Topala Mangari (near
Jeelola) against Naga of Jaipur and other Sardars of
Mewar; he had built the Paratap Sagar and a garden
called Peethal Bagh; he was a supporter of poetry and
had many poets in his court, one of whom (Mehdu
Charan) authored the Pratap Chitra in Rajasthani; married
(a), Rani Ratan Kanwar, daughter of Thakur Sangram
Singh of Siriyari,
married (b), Rani Sardar Kanwar, daughter of Rao
Sangram Singh of Parsoli,
and his second wife, Rani Puran Kanwar.
- Rawat SALAM SINGHJI,
9th Rawat Saheb of Amet fl.1816, he was a popular
Rawat of Amet with his people, he had built one
village (called Salampura) and one lake (Salam Sagar),
naming them after himself.
- Rawat PRITHVI
SINGHJI II, 10th Rawat Saheb of Amet -/1857,
married (amongst others), Rani Sahiba Mertaniji, and
had adoptive issue. He died sp in 1857.

Chattar Singh, adopted from Jeelola, he eventually
succeeded as Rawat Chattar Sinhji, Rawat
Saheb of Amet.
- (A) Kunwar Amar Singh, second son of Rawat
Zalim Singhji of Bemali, his succession was
contested by Kunwar Chattar Singh of Jeelola who
was more closely related to the late Rawat, he
later was granted the Jagir of Meja in compensation,
by HH Mahrana Shambhu Singhji of Mewar.

1857/1860
- Rawat CHATTAR
SINGHJI, 11th Rawat Saheb of Amet 1860/1874,
born in the Jeelola family, he successfully contested
the nomination of Kunwar Amar Singh of Bemali, and was
eventually installed on 29th May 1860; married Rani
Sobhag Kanwar, daughter of Rao Laxman Singhji of Parsoli, and his first
wife, a daughter of Chundawat Rawat Tej Singh of
Athana, and had issue.

- Rawat SHIVNATH
SINGHJI, 12th Rawat Saheb of Amet 1874/-,
born 1869, educated at Mayo College, Ajmer; he
undertook reconstructive work on Salam Sagar and
Paratap Sagar; he was present at the Delhi Durbar in
1911; he had built the village of Shivnathpura (named
after himself) and granted in jagiri to his kinsman of
Thakur Kishore Singhji of Bhopji ka Kheda; he also
granted the jagiri of Heer Singhji Ka Kheda also known
as Oda, to Thakur Raj Singhji of Devaji Ka Guda; he
was an avid shikari,
also a writer and musician, being the author of
Shivnath Prakash (History of Amet in Dingal),
published by his daughter Maharani Ram Kanwarba; he
also opened a new school in Amet as well as the
Shivnath Rajput Hostel in Thikana Amet; he was
responsible for so many new developments in his
estate, that he became known as the modern Father of
Amet; he adopted his successor from Jeelola, married
and had issue, one daughter, as well as adoptive
issue.
- HH Maharani Ram Kunwarba Sahiba, born 1903,
married 1917, Major HH Maharana Shri Maharaja Shri
Raj Sir Ghanshyamsinhji Ajitsinhji Sahib Bahadur of
Dhrangadhra. She
died 1932.

- Rawat GOVIND
SINGHJI, 13th Rawat Saheb of Amet, he
succeeded by adoption; married Rani Heer Kanwar, born
24th April 1920, daughter of Rao Saheb Lal Singhji II
of Parsoli, and his
wife, Rani Prem Kanwar, and had issue, two sons.

- Kunwar Purushottam Singhji, he was adopted into
Jilola and succeeded there as Thakur Purushottam
Singhji, Thakur Saheb of Jilola; married Kanwarani
Lakshmi Kumari of Pisangan,
and has issue, three sons and one daughter.
- Kunwar Dileep Singhji, married and has issue.
- Bhanwar Jayvardhan Singhji, he was adopted by
his great-uncle, Rawat Prabhu Prakash Singhji
