PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY:
The
founder of the family was Rao Champaji, third son of Rao Ranmalji
of Mewar, who was granted the estate of Kaparda in 1416. His grandson,
Rao Jaisoji succeeded to the estate of Ransigaon in 1520. Estate

Kaaparda in Jodhpur, married and had issue, the Champawat Rathores,

Palri, Rohet, Singari, Dhandiyan, Bajekan-Dhingsara,

- Thakur VITHAL DASJI, Thakur of Ransigaon 1627/1658,
married
seven wives,
including, Thakurani Jam Kanwar, daughter of
Shaktawat Rao Bhan Shaktisinghot of Bhindar,
married Thakurani Udai Kanwar, daughter of Hulan Rao Duda of Sojat, and
had issue, fifteen sons. He died 1658 in the battle of Dholpur.

- Kunwar Lakhdeerji, he was granted the Thikana of Khiwada,
married and had issue, the Khinwara, Dudod,
Samuja and Basani Muhsa families.

(including the Thakurs of Bhinmal, Daspan,
Pokhran,
Aasaana in Jodhpur and Geejgarh and
Gadora in Jaipur).
- Kunwar Ajab Singhji, he was granted the Thikana of Bakara
(see Baakra)
- Kunwar Devidasji, he was granted the Thikana of Pali,
married and had issue, the Peelwa, Santha, Kanota
and Naila families.

married and had issue, the Sarecha family.

- Thakur PRITHVIRAJJI, Thakur of Ransigaon 1658/-,
born 1614,
married four wives,
and had issue, three sons and two daughters.
- Thakur DHANRAJ SINGHJI, Thakur of Ransigaon, married
three wives,
and had issue, six
sons.
- Thakur Anop Singh, ancestor of the Denod and Bamnoi
families.
- Thakur AMAR SINGH,
Thakur of Ransigaon -/1747, married
three wives, and had
issue, ten sons. He died 1747 in battle in Bikaner.
- Thakur Mokham Singh (qv)
- Thakur Suraj Mal, he was granted the estate of Nosar in
Falodi pargana, Jodhpur (1 village, 2,100Rs, single Tazimi Sirayat) in
1756 by Maharaja Vijai Singh of Jodhpur; married three wives, and had
issue, three sons. He died 1790 in the battle of Merta.
- Thakur Raghunath Singh of Nosar; married in a Bhati
family and had issue, three sons.
- Thakur Himmat Singh of Nosar, married three wives of
Bhati families, including a daughter of Thakur Mool Chand of Bikampur,
and had issue, one son.
- Thakur Ranjit Singh of Nosar, married two wives of
Bhati families, and had issue, four sons.
- Thakur Aaskaran of Nosar, he adopted his nephew,
Kunwar Ridmal Singh, elder son of his brother Thakur Daulat Singh. He
died sp.
- (A) Thakur Ridmal Singh of Nosar,
succeeded his uncle by adoption.
- Thakur Daulat Singh, married and had issue.
- Kunwar Ridmal Singh, adopted by his uncle, and
succeded asd Thakur Ridmal Singh of Nosar.
- Thakur Surat Singh, he was granted the estate of
Hariadhana in 1751 by Maharaja Bakhat Singh of Jodhpur, married twice
including, Thakurani Anop Kanwar, daughter of Bhati Rao Zorawar Singh
of Bikampur, and had issue, five sons.
- Thakur Budh Singh of Hariadhana, married (as
his only wife), Thakurani Chauhaniji, and had issue, five sons.
- Thakur Jait Singh of Hariadhana, married
three
wives, and had issue, seven sons.
- Thakur Bhairu Singh of Hariadhana, married
(as his only wife), Thakurani Dal Kanwar from Khinchi family, and had
issue, three sons.
- Thakur Peerdan Singh of Hariadhana,
married (as his only wife) Thakurani Panna Kanwar, daughter of Chauhan
Thakur Raj Singh of Lawari, and had issue, four sons.
- Thakur Ranjit Singh of Hariadhana,
married a daughter of Chundawat Thakur Abhai Singh of Palri, and had
issue, two sons.
