PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY:
Also known as Mundari or Mundurri, the thikana was granted
to Thakur Hariramji, a younger son of Raja Raisal Darbari,
Rao of Amarsar, and his second wife, Rani Kisnawati,
daughter of Raja Peetha Chauhan, the Raja of Khandela.
Earlier succession by primogeniture was followed, but
since the time of Udaybhan Singhji , equal partition
amongst male coparceners of the Joint Family is the rule.

married and had issue, six sons, ancestors of the
Thakurs of Mundru, Abhawas, Lasadiya, Bhomias,
Bagariyawas and Dhaliyawas. He died in a battle.

PANA I: ZALIM SINGHJI KA PANA (BADA PANA)
- Thakur ZALIM SINGHJI, joint Thakur Saheb of
Mundru, married and had issue two sons, the Pana I of
Mundru (better known as Zalim Singh Ji Ka Pana). He
died in a battle.

- Thakur DEEN SINGHJI, joint Thakur Sahib of
Mundru, he had an estate of over 5000 Bighas, married
Bhanwari Baisa, daughter of Thakur Madhodas Mertiya
Rathore, Thakur Sahib of Kithalsar, and had issue, two
sons. He was killed in action (Jhujhar).
- Thakur Gordhan Singhji, married Kumari Son Kanwar
Baisa, daughter of Thakur Prem Singh Rathore of
Mayapur, and has issue, four sons and a daughter.
- Thakur REWAT SINGHJI, joint Thakur Sahib of
Mundru -/2010, born in Mundru Doongri, married 1stly,
Thakuranisa Roop Kanwar, daughter of Kumpawat Rathore
Thakur Kan Singhji, Thakur of Asope (Bhanawas and
Dadmi), married 2ndly, Thakuranisa Supyar Kanwar,
daughter of Thakur of Runija (Bishandasot Mertiya
Rathore), married 3rdly, Thakuranisa Shayar Kanwar
Rathore of Natuti (Jodha Ki), and had issue, six sons
and two daughters. He died 10th September 2010.
 Col. Thakur Anand Singh, joint Thakur
Sahib of Mundru, born 1957, educated at
Sainik School, Chittorgarh; graduate of prestigious
military academies N.D.A. and I.M.A., wherein he
excelled in horse riding and won his Spurs;
voluntarily undertook five parachute jumps at
Sarsawa and learnt the Tibetan language. He
participated in Himalayan Car rally (1986) and stood
First in Desert Rally (1995); he had the honour of
looking after the security of President of India,
Giani Zail Singh in 1986, and R. Venkataraman in
1987, during their visits to Army Units; associated
with Security arrangements for launch of Agni
missile tests (1998-1999); has had staff
appointments as General Staff Officer (Intelligence)
Grade III in a Mountain Brigade and Deputy Assistant
Quarter Master General in an Infantry Division.
Besides various appointments in the Indian Army also
served in DRDO and NCC; married Thakurani Krishna
Kumari, daughter of Thakur Sahib Bijay Singhji,
Tazim Naresh Panch Mahal Marot, Thakur of Abhaypura, and his
second wife, Thakuranisa Lad Kanwar, daughter of
Thakur Saheb Pane Singhji of Jadawata, and has issue
a daughter and two sons.
- Pooja Kumari Singh, educated Delhi, Kolkata
and MGD Jaipur; is a First Class graduate in
Law; First in National Essay Competition (Senior
category) J.N.U., Delhi, awarded by the Governor
of Kerala at 9th National e-governance
conference; First in Poetry writing Competition
by D.R.D.O. Delhi, awarded by the President of
India Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam; has been best
athlete of her schools and created new records
in MGD Girls' School; held Editorship of
Institute Law Journal; worked as Legal
Researcher to Hon'ble Judges at Appellate Court.
- Kunwar Vikram Singh, born 1987, educated in
Dehradun, Meerut, Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur and
Chandigarh; he is a First Class Graduate in Law,
has held Editorship of Institute Magazine, has
been Institute Placement Co-ordinator; and
worked as Legal Researcher to Hon'ble Judges at
Appellate Court.
- Kunwar Ravindra Singh, born 1992, educated in
Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur, Meerut, Bikaner and
A.P.S. Dagshai, Shimla; he is an avid horse
rider and has undertaken various trekking camps
organised by Government of Himachal Pradesh; he
is pursuing B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel
Administration from Institute of Hotel
Management, Bangalore.
- Thakur Udai Karan Singh Shekhawat B.Sc. (by
Thakuranisa Roop Kanwar), joint Thakur Sahib of
Mundru, born 15th July 1965 in Mundru, educated at
Maharaja College in 1986 (B.Sc. (PCB)), he served as
Sub-Inspector in the Central Reserve Police, married
8th July 1991, Thakurani Keshar Kanwar Raghunath
Singhot Medtiya, and has issue, two sons.
- Kunwar Bhanu Pratap Singh Shekhawat, born 15th
September 1995, presently (2014) attending class
XII (PCM) exams with the Rajsthan Board of
Education.
- Kunwar Narendra Singh Shekhawat, born 12th
August 1997, presently (2014) studying in class XI
KV NO. 4, Jaipur.
