PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY:
The Raos of Kamta Rajaula belong to a Kayasth (Hindu)
family, descended from Sardar Ajudhya Parshad, an agent of
the State of Charkhari, who became an agent of the
Kalinjar Chaubes, and obtained from them the jagir of
Kamta. The Jagirdar maintains a military force of 15
infantry and 1 gun (as of 1892). Rulers were...

PRASAD, Jagirdar of Kamta -/1812, married and
had issue.
- Rao GOPAL LAL,
1st Rao Saheb of Kamta Rajaula [1812] - [23.10.1874],
he received a sanad
from the British Government, naming four villages viz.
Rajaula, Kamta, Janki Kund and Lohara, married and had
issue. He died 1874.
- Rao BHARAT PRASAD,
2nd Rao Saheb of Kamta Rajaula [23.10.1874]
-[xx.12.1891], born 18th July 1847, he succeeded to
the gadi on
23rd October 1874 (#1),
married and had issue. He died in December 1891.
- Rao RAM PRASAD,
3rd Rao Saheb of Kamta Rajaula [3.3.1892] -
[27.10.1928], born 1870, succeeded 1st January 1892,
married and had issue. He died 27th October 1928.
