PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY: The origins of the Taluqa begin in 1785 when Nawab Bahadur Asaf ud-Daula of Oudh, granted the estate to Kalyan Singh, who claimed descent from the Raja of Shivrajpur in Harha pargana.
