Singh,
an
Upal jat, left his home at Lakarki in Gurdaspur in around
1738, and coming to Amritsar, he rebuilt a ruined village,
which he named Aimah (land held in proprietary right), in
defiance of the rights of the late inhabitants. Members

an Upal jat, married and had issue. He lived around
1738.
- Surjan Singh,
Jagirdar of Aimah -/1799, he succeeded to the village
of Aimah as well as his uncles jagirs, he served under
Sardar Karam Singh in the Bhangi misl, he contrived to
seize Chahrbajwa in Sialkot district in 1783, married
and had issue. He died 1799.
- Sardar Nar Singh (qv)
- Gulab Singh, he served in the Mul Rajia Regiment;
married and had issue.
- Asa Singh, died 1850.
- Hukum Singh, died 1897.
- Bibiji (name
unknown) Kaur, married (as his first

- Sardar Nar Singh,
Jagirdar of Aimah 1799/1866, born about 1785,
initially with the Bhangi misl, he joined the service
of Maharaja Ranjit Singh in 1803, who he accompanied
in the Pindi Bhattian campaign, in the attack on the
Bhangis, and against the Raja of Kangra in 1804, then
in the attack on Jhang, Multan (1818), Kashmir (1819),
Tehri (1823), Narah and Mithankot (1836); his
principal jagirs were resumed in 1825, but after
annexation, his remaining jagir was confirmed to him
for life in 1849, married 1stly, a daughter of Sardar
Dharam Singh, married 2ndly, an aunt of Maharani
Jindan Kaur, and had issue. He died 1866.
- Sher Singh, born 1814, married and had issue. He
died 1867.
- Sardar Sant Singh (by Mussamat Kishan Kaur, died

- Sardar Sant Singh,
Head of Family 1866/- ; born 1833, the family jagir
was resumed on his father's death, leaving him in
straightened circumstances; married a relative of
Maharaja Ranjit Singh, and had issue.
