Guru RAM DASJI, 4th Sikh Guru 1574/1581, born 24th September 1534 in Chuna Mandi, Lahore, Punjab (now Pakistan) as Bhai Jetha, he designed the Golden Temple, he planned and created the township of Ramdaspur (later renamed Amritsar), he organised the structure of Sikh Society, author of Laava, the hymns of the Marriage Rites; married 18th February 1554, Bibi Bhani [Mata Bhaniji, after marriage], born 19th January 1535 at Basarke Gillan, a village near Amritsar, died 9th April 1598 at Goindval, daughter of Guru Amar Das Bhalla, 3rd Sikh Guru, and his wife, Mata Mansa Devi, and had issue, three sons. He died 1st September 1581.

Baba Prithi Chandji, born 1558, married and had issue, the Mina Sodhis of Haranpur in Jhelum district and of Buttar and Harsahai in Ferozepur district.

Baba Meharban, married and had issue.

Baba Karan Mal, married and had issue, the Sodhis of Buttar and Sultan Khan Wala.
Baba Har Ji, married and had issue.

Baba Har Narayan of Haranpur in Jhelum district, married and had issue.

Baba Kaul Sahib, he founded the village of Dhilwan and also Kotha Guru in Patiala; married and had issue.

Baba Mahan Devji, born 1560, an ascetic, he died unmarried.
Guru Arjan Devji, 5th Sikh Guru 1581/1606, born 15th April 1563, author of Sukhmani Sahib Bani � Prayer for Peace and over 2000 hymns in the Guru Granth Sahib, he built the Golden Temple, he developed Amritsar as a Centre of Excellence, he compiled and installed for the first time the holy Sikh Book (Adi Granth), married 19th June 1589 in Mau, Mata Ganga Devji, died 14th May 1621 at Bakala, daughter of Bhai Krishan Chand of the village of Mau, and had issue. He was martyred on 30th May 1606.

Guru Hargobindji, 6th Sikh Guru 1606/1644, born 19th June 1595 in Guru ki Vadali in Dist. Amritsar, he built the Akal Takhat in 1608, which is now one of five Takhats (Seat of Power) of the Sikhs, he founded the city of Kiratpur in District Jalandhar, Punjab; he married (a), Mata Nanaki Ji, married (b), Mata Damodari Ji, married (c), Mata Maha Devi, died 1645, daughter of Bhai Daya Ram Marwah of Mandeala, and had issue. He died 3rd March 1644.

Baba Gurditta, born 1613, married 17th April 1624, Bibi Anantiji, then Mata Nihal Kaurji [aka Mata Natti], died 29th September 1664 at Katarpur, daughter of Bhai Rama, and his wife, Mata Sukhdevi, a Khatri Sikh couple of Batala, and had issue. He died 1638.

Baba Dhir Mal, born 11th January 1627, married and had issue, the Sodhi family of Kartarpur. He died 1677.
Guru Har Rai, 7th Sikh Guru 1644/1661, born 26th February 1630, he became Guru on 8th March 1644, hr established an Ayurvedic herbal medicine hospital and a research centre at Kiratpur Sahib; married 1641, Mata Kishan Kaurji [Mata Sulakniji], daughter of Sri Daya Ramji of Anoopshahr, and had issue. He died 30th May 1661.

Baba Ram Raiji, born 1646, he was expelled from the Khalsa by his father for changing the meaning of Sri Guru Nanakji's writing and for performing miracles, he was given a jagir by Aurangzeb and settled north of Harduwar in Duun where he died 1687.
Bibi Sarup Kaurji, born 1652, married 3rd December 1662, Khem Karan, son of Pair Mal of Pasrur.
Guru Har Krishanji, 8th Sikh Guru 1661/1664, born 7th July 1656 at Kiratpur, died of smallpox on 30th March 1664 and was cremated on the bank of river Jamna where the prsent day Gurdwara Bala Sahib is now situated.

Baba Suraj Mal alias Suraj Singhji (by Mata Maha Devi), born 9th June 1617 at Amritsar, married 23rd April 1629, Khem Kaur, daughter of Bhai Prem Chand of Kartarpur, and had issue. He died about 1645.

Deep Chandji, born 1633, married and had issue.

Gulab Raiji, born 1660, received the rites of Khalsa and became Gulab Singh, he rebuilt the town of Anandpur.

Baba Atal Rai (by Mata Maha Devi), born 1619 at Amritsar, died 23rd July 1628.
Guru Tegh Bahadurji, 9th Sikh Guru 1665/1675, born 1st April 1621 at Amritsar as Tyal Mal, he became Guru on 20th March 1665, educated privately in Gurmukhi, Hindi, Sanskrit and Indian religious philosophy, and archery and horsemanship, while his father Guru Hargobind Ji, Master of Miri and Piri taught him swordsmanship; towards the end of his life he built Anandpur Sahib in 1666, where he spent most of his time; married 1632, Mata Gujri Ji at Kartarpur, and had issue, one son. He was killed 11th November 1675 on the orders of Aurangzeb.

Guru Gobind Singhji, 10th and last Sikh Guru 1675/1708, born 26th December 1666 at Patna as Gobind Rai, educated privately in horse riding, archery, swordsmanship, Gurmukhi and Persian, he was formally installed as the Guru on the Baisakhi day of March 1676; on 30th March 1699 he organized his followers into what was called the Khalsa; married 4th April 1684 in Anandpur and 21st June 1684 at Basantgarh, Mata Ajeet Kaurji [Mata Jeetoji, later Mata Sundariji], died 1747 in Delhi, daughter of Bhai Ram Saran, a Kumaraw Khatri of Bijwara, she received Amrit at the 1699 Vaisaakhi Amrit Sanchaar and adopted the name Ajeet Kaur, and had issue. He died 7th October 1708.

Bibi Biro (by Mata Damodari Ji), born 11th July 1615 at Amritsar, married 24th May 1629 at Jhabal, Bhai Sadhu of the village of Malla, and had issue, five sons.

Guru Shyam Singh, born 1662, received the rites of Khalsa and became Shyam Singh, married and had issue, five sons, the Sodhis of Anandpur in Hoshiarpur district, who are considered to be the fountainhead of the Sikh faith.

Sodhi Baba Ramnarain Singh, Bari Sarkar of Anandpur 1871/1928; born 1871, an Honorary Magistrate, a Civil Judge and a Provincial Darbari; President of the Notified Area Committee and Sacred Shrine Committee of Anandpur; married Bibiji Chand Kaur Sahiba, daughter of Baba Sir Khem Singh Bedi of Kallar, and had issue. He died 1928.
